Guided Myths and Storytelling Walk

Join us for an enchanting journey through the breathtaking landscapes of Cwm Idwal National Nature Reserve. Led by a local storyteller from Anadlu, this guided walk will transport you to a world of ancient myths and legends.
What to expect?
- Walk starts 9:30 am.
- Walk last 3 hours (4Km).
We’ll meet up outside the Cwm Idwal visitor centre (LL57 3LZ) and then begin our walk at a gentle pace up to Cwm Idwal. As we walk around the reserve we’ll stop to listen to the rich folklore and mythical stories that have been passed down through generations. Come along to a wonderful opportunity to connect with the past and learn about the cultural significance and the stories that are blended into this beautiful landscape.
Please Note: The walk is suitable for adults and over 12s only. The walk isn’t suitable with dogs. The walk is free of charge.
What to bring
We recommend wearing warm, waterproof clothing and appropriate footwear. Feel free to bring a snack and a drink with you, or you can buy something at the visitor centre.
Parking
The car park can fill up very quickly, so we advise you arrive in plenty of time. Alternatively there is a bus service (Traws Cymru T10) available from Bethesda and Capel Curig.
